Closing since this is possible in v2. To see it in action go to http://jsbin.com/vazofik/edit?output
V2 documentation is available at http://nnnick.github.io/Chart.js/docs-v2/

@keyong19ryry what about using the chartjs-plugin-datalabels plugin (example)?

@tadgh Thats only for Pie Chart. As a chart, every chart must have labels in necessary places.

We can implement something like this
http://ankane.github.io/chartkick/

These has labels and are interactive when we click on it.

Could you please create a JS bin using the latest version RC showing the API would like to use for setting this feature. This would also be like a test case. Thank you.

Labels for x/y scales have been implemented in the v2.0 branch.

Apologies if I'm being blind, but I don't see where/how in v2 I can get polarArea charts to display labels (I need them to show in the same way as radar charts).

so how to set the labels?

I need the same as in the below one (which was closed in favor of this issue):
#344

This one is closed but the doc link shows 404 and I can't find any info on how to add the labels

Any links on how to do that if it's possible at all?

arthabus avatar arthabus commented on May 4, 2024

here is a hack that I ended up with - radar has the labels so you can draw the"radar" behind "polar area". Just add two canvases one above the other and setup the radar so only the labels are visible (like transparent colors for the chart lines etc).
