Workshops. The necessary materials are:

This is annoying, but not the end of the world. Browsers do come with a zoom feature.
I need to think through how to represent / introduce the vector.

This slide doesn't make a lot of sense.
http://choens.github.io/titanic/workshops/regression/linear/#/1
There is an embarassing typo where I refer to AQ as Anscombe's Quarter, rather than Anscombe's Quartet.
Oops.
The irony here is that I rarely, in my own work, use the actual index name. Yeah. Kinda funny actually.
The file ratios.r in the regressions workshop needs to be renamed to ratios.R . . . . or just deleted. I don't think it really worked all that well.
Or I could move it somewhere else . . . . like an extensions page or something.
Ironic.

Fix the spelling. Then life will be swell.
Rather than start at the beginning, maybe wait until the end?
Add in an example of 3 * 3.1 or something not equalling what you think it should.
OK, this is embarassing.
The LAST SLIDE of the linear regressions slide-deck contains a terrible typo. It says:
"only the second" when it should clearly say "only the first"
Just check into this on Windows. I can't seem to reproduce on Linux.
In addition to self, credit EBCoP, Rockefeller, Colleen, ad Abigail.

I think I may have fixed this, but I want to look at the code to be sure.
Not sure what this is talking about, but it was in my notes from last time.
Workshop: Introduction
Files:
This workshop introduces rm() but it could be improved.
[ ] The slide/code should reference the broom icon in RStudio
[ ] Include code to delete everything rm(list=ls())
I needs a few slides for Why R for the introduction.
This didn't really fit in very well. Might be better to remove the independent file . . . . or move it to the morning?
I should leave in the bit that shows how to move from the logistic regression to the OR via exponentiation.
Another stretch for Friday.
In the "about" presentation for the intro workshop, there is something wrong with slide 1.
I think this is most relevant for:
It would be nice to have accompanying SAS code.
This is a stretch. It isn't strictly necessary.
It would be nice to have a page, with instructions for installing R/RStudio on the website. In fact, it would be nice to have this to send to the last batch of participants on Monday when I send them the request to complete the survey.
http://choens.github.io/titanic/workshops/introduction/data.frames/#/14
The response code section runs off the bottom of the screen. Would be nice to fix that.
Workshop: Regression

Add details for participants about exporting the png file using RStudio.

The code in the response section does not appear to be highlighted correctly.
http://choens.github.io/titanic/workshops/introduction/
At the bottom of the page, there is supposed to be a link to an animation of the Titanic sinking. But, the animation is gone. I should delete the damned link.

Looks like I got a little wordy-mouthed.
Reduce the # of words.
http://choens.github.io/titanic/workshops/regression/linear/
The graphics I took from Wikipedia are hard to read for presentation purposes.
I proposed altering the SVG.
http://choens.github.io/titanic/workshops/introduction/data-types/#/3
There is a random apostrophe at the top of the slide.
I've got the Word file I use as a flier. I should include it on the gh-pages branch somewhere. Doesn't have to be on the site formally, just make it accessible.
There needs to be a place where you mention getting out of trouble with the repl.
The next workshop, will be focuses on programming R:
Will still be based on the Titanic data, but will go further structurally.
This is a big lift, but it would really make things better on Friday. Would help Abigail lead more in the afternoon.
Be sure to mention case sensitivity somewhere in the AM.
This was one of my other big FAILS of the day. In the graphical slide-deck, I'm still showing "exploratory plots", but I now want it to say demo plots, and link to the demo plots file.
Fortunately, the main page has a link to the file I wanted, but the slide deck should be correct.
