I was able to install Catalina using this method to create a USB drive. The issue I am now running into now after the post install, is when running in verbose mode it stops after the first stage of starting up and ends with:

"** In Memory Panic Stackshot Succeeded ** Bytes Traced 10800 ** Attempting system restart MACH Reboot

The above is not an error message I have not saw before. Thoughts?

First off, I want to thank you for the immense amount of work you've done with regards to getting HP laptops to work with MacOS! I've followed countless tutorials to try to get High Sierra or Mojave to work without success until I found your Installer, it worked like a bomb!

The issue I'm having is this...
After a clean install with Mojave using your installer, I run your post package app, select the settings as per your youtube video showed but for my model and settings (7 series, Intel HD3000 1600x900, etc), restart the laptop but nothing changes when logging back in, except for "Bootchimedxe" which now plays the Mac startup sound and the battery Icon now shows up in the top taskbar.

It's as if none of the settings from the package work after rebooting.
Video still set to 1024x768 (can't change this)
No Audio (no devices detected)
No Wifi (this I know may be due to needing another kext not supplied in your package since my wifi is AR9485 and not AR9285)
HWMonitor looks to be working but Im not sure if the temps are correct.

Any idea what I may need to do to resolve the Audio and Video Resolution and possibly the WiFi?

Is this something that is caused by the bios not being on F50? If so I cannot find the F50 bios file online but the F67 (latest) which I saw that it must be on F50! Any links to the file?

I have been following your guide to install Hackintosh on my Hp Elitebook 8770w. After creating usb when I try to boot it got stuck at the following error:

I did a little bit of searching about it and I found out it is related to some kind of graphics issue. You know better then me as I'm still a noob. I also tried some online solutions like: (Inject Nvidia, Inject Web Driver, nv_disable=1 bla bla...) but noting works. It would be great if you can fix this issue. because there are no specific guides for my laptop as compare to other probooks, elitebooks.

I us sudo command to disable hibernate and wake up work but mouse cursor disappear.
I don't know where I have mistake in installation.
as per you said my kext folder seems different by your guide but I did nit do anything.i followed your guide.

Earlier post issues were resolved awesomely.

I'm converting my 2nd laptop 8570p now and I have double checked the bios settings and other things. All are good, USB installer shows no error in verbose mode and boots into the OS installer screen but it shows only a black screen, no display at all. I also checked with Mojave USB which I created with earlier version of your app. It show same issue with that too.

Please tell me what how can I fix this?

Laptop specs are Elitebook 8570p 8GB RAM, HD-4000 GPU, SSD and Atheros AR5B195 Wifi.

First of all thanks a lot for making this useful tool. I been using this for Mojave which worked awesome!

I have two issues to get help for you;
1st as you can see the attached image, its showing progress bar shifted and overlapped on right side instead of center. It was also the same on Mojave, how can I fix this?
2nd I'm using this updated tools for Catalina and its stuck at the same screen. I been waited for 20 minutes hoping it will progress but noting happened, no progress or error showed. I also tried to boot in verbose mode but all text was overlapped and shifted to right. I couldn't read it.

So please tell me how can I fix these issues? I'm using Elitebook 8470p with HD4000 graphics, 8GB RAM and SSD.

I have been completely successful in installing Mojave and Catalina on my Elitebook 8470p with everything working. Best tool that I have used in the past 10 years of Hackintoshing, thank you for your time and work.

I have two HP Elitebook 8460p which I have successfully installed Sierra in the past. I wanted to create new installs of Sierra and High Sierra on these machines. However, when I use the package creator on these machines I can only get the two right side USB parts to work. I have tried to install Sierra or High Sierra several times but only two ports working. I tried USBInjectAll.kext but even this does not activate the left 2 USB ports. The ports are not broken. Any suggestions?

Cannot Adjust Brightness for Probook 6460b, intel Graphics 3000 3MB + 1024x768

So far everything works quite well on the HP 8470p. No major issues, and everything works in the way an OEM MacBook Pro would. The only issue that popped up that is not a major issue but annoying when your kid wants to watch Disney Junior is the green screen DRM issue. We get perfect sound and there is a green screen but we can see what is supposed to be there when scrobbling through the video.

Edit to previous issue:
This is occurring in Safari when trying to stream video from network sites like AT&T TV, Disney and networks that offer streaming through their site not the AppleTV application, it does not happen in that application.

What is the issue that causes this and how can it be resolved?

I have an HP 8460p which I installed Catalina on and then applied your legacy GPU patcher to patch the Intel 3000 graphics. This one does not have the DRM green screen issue in the AppleTV application or Safari.

I am having issues creating the USB media. I first tried by Disabling the Gatekeep on a macbook pro running Catalina, and using a 16GB Drive (I have two of them and got the same issue). Then I tried using a Hackintosh also running Catalina, by first disabling SIP from config.plist using clover configurator. The process on both computers seems to get stuck at around 70% progress for about 15-20 minutes maybe, then it resulted in an error saying something like:

Erasing Disk: 0%.....10%.....20%.....30%....100%....IA app name cookie write failed. The copy of the installer app failed. Please check attached screenshot for more details. Is there something that I am missing?

Thank you for the excellent setup. I have got further with your setup than with any other method. I am very close to getting the system to install. I have one major issue.

I have a 9470m 16G ram 250GB samsung ssd. Bios F.73

I have followed all of the directions on the website and the video. I get to the installed and it is about 85% complete. The system reboots. When clover boots I get two instances, the installer USB and the new catalina version on the 250GB samsung drive. The new catalina version does not boot.

Where can i find the install logs to troubleshoot why the system is rebooting? I have disabled the intel driver as in the last post with the same result.

I installed Mojave on my 4540s by your guide, every thing work, only brightness key did not work.
after install clover I did not have sound that by installing voodoo kext it be solved but brightness problem no.

I have installed High Sierra on my laptop using your tool and when I boot from USB the display resolution and colors works fine but only show 5Mb of Graphic RAM. When I boot from SSD, resolution didn't work correctly also the Graphics RAM reduces to 3Mb. Can you please guide me how can I fix this problem.
Also wifi didn't work, it has a Broadcom wifi
Also Sound and battery works when booting SSD, not with USB.

8 Days ago we solved my USB problem, but now it seems there is another "problem". Its my CPU Powermanagement, the CPU is running all the time with the Highest Pstate , also with youre SSDT.
I created a new one with ssdtPRGen, but then the CPU locks at 800 mhz. Then i created another one with this tool but slightly different and then it runs again permanently at highest Pstate .. I hope you can help me :)

• How to enable fingerprint for: HP Elitebook 8570P i5 3210M Intel HD 4000 (Camera Facetime ok?)

• And for now, there are WhateverGreen + LiLu, can I install Catalina into HP Probook 4730S I5 2520M AMD Radeon HD 7470M/6490M

first of all I want to give a big thanks for the great job you have done. After turning around the web looking for a good installation procedure I've found your Package Creator and everything as gone like a charm!!
I've only three issues and, before trying other solution with highly headache (with no success), I would ask if you can help me.
The three issue are:

• WiFi does not work: there is the empty symbol on the top bar but if I click to activate WiFi nothing happens
• Bluetooth does not appear in the SystemPreferences and doesn't work
• SD card reader does not work: if I insert an SD card nothing happens (else in the Disk Utility)

The laptop has an i3-2310m, 4GB RAM and a 250GB SSD
Attached you can find the zip of my EFI folder (btw, the Drop EFI app does not work, I mount it manually), and system info about the wifi card. The bluetooth is not recognized by the osx

I have HP ProBook 450 G0. The audio did not work for me from creator. I had to change the Audio value in inject to make it work.

1. But would really appreciate from experts like yourself to guide what should be the best value?
2. Also do I need to disable sleep mode in Catalina or it should work as expected?
3. I believe my card reader may not work is that correct?
4. The HDMI output is working but audio is not working on the system any help?
