Check http://acemonstertoys.org/status.json 'open' will be true/false depending on if the door is opened/closed. 'lastchange' is a unix timestamp of when the door last opened/closed.

There is a JSON blob embedded in the source code of the page hackerspaces.org/wiki/List_of_Hacker_Spaces that has lat/lon for every hackerspace. You could check your current GPS coords and then display a list of the 5 closest hackerspaces or something with links to google maps as well.

http://acemonstertoys.org/eyefi redirects to the flickr page. I'm sure they have some API or RSS feed or something you can use.

http://acemonstertoys.org/webcam1/imag.php is a live image from the webcam. If you're logged into drupal, it will be unblurred. You can reload the image every 10 seconds or so to get updates.

As a Member, I want to see the unblurred webcam, so I can see what's going on.

As a Non-Member, I want to see the blurred webcam, so I can see what's going on (sort of)

Add the contents of the RSS feed, which is blog posts on the AMT site, as a pane in the application.

This makes the app useful to other hackerspaces too.
You can display all the info about the hackerspace, link to webpage, irc, google maps, phone number, open/closed status, etc.
Might be cool to sort by distance to your current location.

Events are currently an HTML view of the Google Calendar for AMT. This pane should consume the .ics file and display it in a friendly format.

changes the text on the LCD on the laser printer under the whiteboard.

Can we add push notification support for event notification, possibly door phone is ringing as well? I would be more then willing to build a backend for it in Node.js, I have a lot of recent experience with APNS
