This is a simple Listing App which contains only:

• A Listing Search Page
• A Listing Detail Page
• A Create Listing Page

Meilisearch is used with Laravel scout for better performance when searching. Response Cache is used as well for perfomance purposes.

The project runs on docker containers, therefore you'll need docker and docker-compose.

Clone the project:

git clone https://github.com/cisco6co/listings.git

Copy the docker env:

cd listings/.docker

cp env-example .env

Run the docker containers:

docker-compose up -d

SSH into the workspace container and install dependencies:

docker-compose exec --user=laradock workspace bash

cp .env.example .env

composer install

php artisan key:generate

Run the database migrations:

php artisan migrate

Run the seeders:

php artisan db:seed

Create the symbolic link:

php artisan storage:link

Install dependencies using npm

npm install

If you are building for developement:

npm run dev

If you are building for production:

npm run prod

You should now be up and running. A test user is availlable, but you can create others. The test user login credentials are:

Login - [email protected] 
Password - password
