An ASP.NET WEB.API C# application that utilizes Azure Search to help find, learn about, and rank baby names.
With thousands of names from all over the world, Babynamr is a great way to explore new name ideas for your baby.
Built with Azure Static Web Apps, and a simple API, this project will display a random baby name with some information.
When we are searching, we also want to (somehow) add a facet for selecting which origin (Hebrew, welsh, etc) we want to search our names by.
We only have like 36 names, and we need a way to bring in a bunch of other names. Ideally we'd save these names into a .json file so when the project is built and deployed it will come with hundreds of names to use. We don't want to take IP from elsewhere though, so that makes the 'meaning' of the names hard.
When we get to the main page, and want to search for something related to a name we want to indicate if we are searching for boy names, girl names, or both.
