lt2circuitikz's Issues

adding option to context menu

Hello,

I want to ask if you could write a manual to add this python script to the windows context menu. This is python script tool is useful! However, every time I need to look up the exact command instruction from this website. It is more user-friendly to add an option to the windows context menu which executes the conversion instead of typing everything in command prompt.

could not open ASY file

You 've made great job. Your script works nicely with standart elements like "R", "C", but if i try to use elements from circuitikz library python script can't read ASY file. I 've tried to solve this problem by myself, but...
image this is screenshot of my error. Do you know what's the problem?

Problems with circuit elements

Hi, I know this is kind of old but let me tell you, you've done a magnificent work!
The script works like a charm! The only thing is, i can't find out how to change the default ground or the default style of the circuit elements (american/European).
I managed to change the style to American but only when i open the .tex file and edit it myself, Is there a way to include this style automatically when the script run?
The other thing I couldn't find a way to change is the default ground (rground), I've tried to manually change all 'rground' to 'ground' (the one i like) but it puts it rotated to the right.

Btw, the script is amazing, congratulations for you work!

Stand-alone executable

Py2exe is already an outdated library and doesn't work anymore. We are using Python 3.11 already instead of 3.4. Is there a possibility to get a method of making lt2circuitikz a stand-alone executable again?

LaTeX setting in separate folder

Is it possible to put all the LaTeX preamble files into a different folder? This way we have all the LaTeX settings into a nice separate folder instead of cluttered away in the sym32a folder.

Usage on Linux

Unfortunately your tool doesnt work on a Linux machine (I use LTSpice via wine) . I tried to convert the script to Linux but I didnt get it to work. I only replaced some backslashes with normal ones. Would it be possible for you to make it OS independent?
Attached is the crash traceback.
Thank you!!
