Using the existing definition in the brief, making some specification by example documents that show the required behaviour.

More specifically if you get the error:
java.lang.SecurityException: class "org.hamcrest.TypeSafeMatcher"'s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package

then it is because you have two version of junit in the build path, one provided manually by Eclipse and the other by Maven. This will caused clashes and therefore the error above. The resolution is to remove JUnit 4 from the Java Build Path, keep the one in Maven but remove the one in the root of the Build Path. This will solve the above issue.
