I'd like to be able to quickly see what the type of a file is. The original file picker from VSCode has different icons for, say, .js and .md files. But with this plugins all files have the same icon in front of it.

This extention does not ignores the ignored paths. It may cause some performance issues

Very happy to see this extension! Given it is relatively new, there seems to be a bit of room for improvement. It frequently causes the extension host to crash. I am using it in a workspace with a medium size angular project with a Java back end. Performance could use improvement. For example, Sublime's feature is nearly instantaneous. A high bar for sure. Nevertheless, please consider further testing and development of this extension, as it introduces a highly requested, and presumably therefore highly valued feature into vscode! microsoft/vscode#8939

As was mentioned in microsoft/vscode#8939 (comment), searching for man.js for instance does not list files called main.js, whereas searching without the plugin installed it does.
