Is there a way to enable dark mode for 10.10 so the icon is more visible when in dark mode?

The popup window, if you click the star on an external monitor, doesn't open on the external monitor. Instead, the view flies over to the primary monitor and opens at the far-right of the display.

Since having menu bars on all monitors is new in Mavericks, I'm guessing that the app just hasn't been updated to work appropriately with this... To be honest, I'm not sure on how to fix it; anyone have any ideas?

Standard Menubarapps prevent the Statusbar from hiding when in Fullscreenmode. I think a Popup like this should behave the same.

Another minor issue is, that after changing the Fullscreenapp the Popup shows again for a brief moment.

When clicking on the status bar icon, the window appears on the desktop screen rather than the screen with full screen application. What needs to be changing in order for this to work?

How can I set an text next to the icon in the statusbar?

As described here, I am interested in making sure the popup stays directly beneath the NSStatusItem when

1. The status bar is hidden because of Full-Screen mode
2. Another status bar item is added/removed, resized, causing the frame of my status item to change.

How can this be done?

is it possible to trigger the PanelController on applicationHasFinishedLoading, i need to click the icon first before the PanelController gets initiated (awakeFomrNib), that's too late in my case.

When I shift-click the icon multiple times, faster than the slowed-down animation takes, then the panel's height becomes altered. Depending on the contents, it's height is reduced dramatically to fit, it seems.
