For now we will want to do this as placeholder content until we are able to play the issue that covers the integration, which is coming later.

The component will sit above the footer on every page. So likely we will want to include this as part of the footer element as far as the site file structure goes.

Research plugins to see what's available, which sites are available by default

Create section for the about content that's going to live on the home page. Ideally we will want to try and make it so that this is a thing that can be edited in the wordpress admin panel. Might need to look into how to make that possible.

I'd time box the research task about that to something like 2 hours. If it can't be done easily then we can go ahead and do thing manually via the template for now.

Build out initial css variables/values for color scheme found in our design wireframes.

• Determine necessary level of ADA compliance
• Make site logical to screen readers: logical structure, link titles, doesn't require javascript to access content etc.

Trying to keep cost <~$60 /yr

• Going to go with Linode at the small server level (nanode). It costs $5 a month, which is the price we're shooting for. I've also used them in the past successfully and think they're a trustworthy vendor to hand over to CEIC.

Some angles to look at this from:

• Is there an API we can call to pull data down and do with it as we choose?
• Alternatively is there an embed we can use? Does this do what we need it to do?
• Is there another path outside those two?

Create a template for generic pages that could be filled with content as chosen by the content creator. Make use of the figma design in order to sort out what the template should look like.
