Release into ROS Indigo? about snap_map_icp HOT 6 OPEN

Interesting idea.

@amaldo @fairlight1337 @bbferka Are we interested in pursuing this? If yes, I could look into it.

Does this involve effort beyond bloom? The other packages were quite straight forward.

I'd be grateful if someone looked into this, as I at least know a couple other labs using snapmap that would benefit from it.

The process is elaborated in ros wiki, but in a nutshell 3 steps:

• Preparing the Upstream Repository (changelog, tagging)
• Creating a so-called "Release Repository"
• bloom

I know, we released a couple of packages before. I was asking about anything that needs to be fixed in SnapMap before release (code cleanup, install targets).

we had some issues under indigo, that got fixed by @gheorghelisca. I am not sure if the fixes got pushed. we will have to check first.
