I wanted to create the core components and structure of a working dashboard by creating a python app to server the database and connect to a web interface , By using a "MongoDB" in a "NoSQL" database to convert and present the third party information (DonorsChoose.org) in a JSON format and display it using D3.js.

The Design was to be fairly basic , Pull in a full listing of donations (DonorsChoose.org) and limit them down to 20,000 (for loading times on the page) and display it in an easy to use simple interface that would hopefully make it easy to both use and access the information provided to the end user.
