Keeping Fish Simple is a website that is looking to help people set up their very first freshwater tropical aquarium. This website is targeted at a complete beginner and is a source of information that will help them get started with setting up their own aquarium at home.

• User Story

  • As a user I want this website to help me understand what is needed and required to begin keeping tropical freshwater fish. As a user I am looking for infomration with how to intially start an aquraium and what equipment I need to do so. I also want to know what type of fish and plants are perfcect for begginers to start with.

• Navigation Bar

  • On the webpage there are three fully responsive navigation tabs that include the Home page, Fish page and Plant page. On each page there is the same header, hero image and footer layout. Each tab will show the user which equiupment is needed to start an aqurium and also what fish and plants are best for begginers.

  

• The landing page image

  • The home page fist introuduces the user to the aquarium hobby and gives a brief summmary to what the website is about.

  

• Equipment needed

  • This section shows what the user will need and also consider when setting up their very first aquarium. It will metion what equipment is needed and also some decison that will have to be made before buying their first fish

The Footer

• The footer section includes links to the relevant social media sites for Keeping fish Simple. The social media links will open up in another tab so better user experince.

The Fish Tab

• The fish tab will provide the user with a list of images and information about some fish that are perfect for begginers. The information that is provided are the tank size, water temperature, group size and also their temperment towards other fish.

The Plant Tab

• The plant tab will provide the user with a list of images of different types of aquarium plants that are perfect for begginers. The plants are broken down into three categories, foreground, mid-ground and background

• I can confirm that my website works on multiple browsers.
• I can confirm that my website is repsonsive and works on multiple devices, which has been tested using the Devtools.

• When looking at the website on an Ipad, the Images for the Cryptocoryne and Echinodorus Red overlap their flexbox container. This only happens on the Ipad format.

  • No errors were returned when passing through the official W3C validator
• CSS
  • No errors were found when passing through the official (Jigsaw) validator
• Accessibility
  • I can confrim that all the fonts ands colors that are used throughout this website are easy to read and accessible, this is shown by using the lighthouse in Devtools

• Log in Github
• Then access the Github respository for the project (https://github.com/Damhan91/Keeping-Fish-Simple)
• Click on settings and go down to the "Github Pages"
• Select "Branch: Main" from the menu. This then genertates a link for the Website
