KS FITNESS

Purpose of the project:

[KS Fitness](https://sevinkmith.github.io/portfolio-project-1/) is a website for a personal trainer coach that gives details about the coach and his background and goals, details of the online plans that are available for potential clients and also benefits of using KS Fitness to keep active and healthy. This project gives the owner a chance to show the value of using his service and gives potential clients a means of getting in contact with him.

User stories:

• For first time users, I want the site to be very clear about the service provided. I want all relevant information about the options for programs to be clear and evident so when each client makes contact, they know what plan they are planning to use. The benefis of using this service needs to be highlighted so users know what to expect from the service. I want the contact details for myself to be easy to find on the site and to make it clear to the user that they are welcome to make contact ato discuss the plans further if they wish to do so. Social media links also need to be
• For existing users, the site has to clearly show them how to get in touch and give them an indication of how long it will for their request to be responded to.

Features:

• Home page: The home page consists of a navigation bar at the top right hand side of the page and KS Fitness Logo on the left. For smaller screen size, the navigation bar moves to the left hand side of the page underneath the logo. The home page body consists of an About me section that gives users information about the fitness coach.The home page also consists of a footer that has links for all social media pages that KS Fitness uses. These are Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
• Online Plans Page: The Online plans page consists of the same header and footer as described previously. The body of this section consists of three sections. The first is a section to give users a clear insight into what plans are availabe. The second section is a benefits section that lets users know what benefits are included when they pick one of the packages from the previous section. The final section is a video of some of the exercises that are
• The Contact Us page: This page consists of the same header and footer as described previously. The body consists a contact us form that gives users a way of making contact to KS Fitness. When the form is filled in, the user is taken to a page with the same header and footer as the rest of the site with a brief message thanking them for submitting a request to KS Fitness.

Future features:

• A feature that I would like to add in the future is a section that shows the progress that previous clients have made with their fitness and lifestyle by using this service.
• I would also like to add a feature that allows users to choose a plan, input their details and generate a plan based on their details and fitness needs.

Typography and colour scheme:

• For the main font of the site I decided to use Montserrat. I decided this as it is an attractive and also a clean font. I decided to use San-Serif as the fallback font on the site.
• For the colour scheme I decided to go with dark green and grey as the two colours.

Technology:

I used Balsamic for the wireframes to plan out the website. I used HTML and CSS to write the code for the website. Gitpod provided the workspace for me to write the code and Github allowed me to deploy the site.
