kydzoster-portfoliov2's Introduction

Martins Silins Portfolio v2.

First Milestone project for Code Institute. View it >> https://kydzoster.github.io/Portfoliov2/.

Short introduction of my site

This is a SPA (Single page Application) created using HTML, Bootstrap and CSS.

UX

My goal was to make it easy on eye (color wise) with less readable content as possible. My portfolio website is easy to manage, it has four buttons in top right corner for easy navigation. As it happens the most content can be found in works section. Nevertheless, I have tried to minimise reading time by inserting an images of my websites for eye catching purposes, when clicked on an image, it will open one of my projects in the new tab. In case someone is interested in source code, I have also included it just right after the images.

Technologies

  1. HTML
  2. CSS
  3. Bootstrap
  4. VSCode

Testing

My website was tested on Dell Notebook, Ipad Pro and Sony Xperia. Website was tested on three browsers: Firefox, Chrome and Safari. During testing website responded well on all devices and browsers.

Deployment

This site is hosted using GitHub pages, you can view it https://kydzoster.github.io/Portfoliov2/., deployed directly from the master branch. The deployed site will update automatically upon new commits to the master branch. In order for the site to deploy correctly on GitHub pages, the landing page must be named index.html. To run locally, you can clone this repository directly into the editor of your choice by pasting git clone https://github.com/kydzoster/Portfoliov2.git into your terminal. To cut ties with this GitHub repository, type git remote rm origin into the terminal.

Media

All photos were taken from my personal gallery of myself and works/projects screenshots made in Microssoft Paint application.
