Vasco Da Gama Fan Quiz was made for the Second Project required to complete the Diploma in Full Stack Software Development program at The Code Institute and shoes to accomplish with success all requirements as well to provide the developer a great learning experience through out the process.

This Quiz intends to target Vasco da Gama fans from all around the world where fans are able to get their knowlodge and curiosities about the team checked trough a series of Questions. Each correct answer will count a score point for you, and for each incorrect answer a point goes to the Outside Team.

• Header

  • Featured on all pages, the header will display our game name "Vasco Da Gama Fan QUIZ!".
  • Header will provide clear understanding of what game are they playing.

• The Game Intro

  • Question made to player if ready to start the game leading to options bellow.
  • Feature to include your name before start of the game.
  • Start button that will direct player to game page.

• The Game

  • Game is featured with progress of questions, so player can recognize current question and how many in total.
  • A score board simple and friendly displaying player score and in the event get a question wrong a point is given to the other team.
  • Random question large and visible above choices available.
  • Choices from A to D and upon selection background color will change to green if correct option selected or red if incorrect.

• The Game Ends

  • The game ends and Player have the options to go back to main page and enter a new name as well to play again, or to go straight into another game. We also thank player for playing this special game.

• Features Left to Implement

  • I would like to add a ranking feature based on names, so can players get a bit competitive and show more insteresting on team knowledge.
  • I would like to add sound to correct questions as similar to scoring a goal.

• Different browsers(Chrome, Safari and Firefox) been tested to verify that page would work with no issue as well as mobile and table devices are responsive to Media querie styles implemented.

• The project is responsive, have a good, simple and clean visual effect and is fully functional with correct results.

• All features within main body have been tested to confirm working properly and texts are clear and readable as well easy to understand.

• Correct or incorrect answers will be displayed as well tracking question or score functions.

• Corrections made to game.html and style.css paths.

• Through Gitpod terminal I have executed commitments and pushed changes to GitHub.
• The site was deployed to GitHub pages. The steps to deploy are as follows:
  • In the GitHub repository, navigate to the Settings tab
  • From the source section General, select the option "Pages".
  • Under GitHub Pages, select Branch from "None" to "main".
  • Once selected "main" push the save option, the page will be automatically refreshed with a detailed ribbon display to indicate the successful deployment.

• The text for the Home page was provided by myself and Vasco da Gama facts checked from general websites.

This has been the most challeging so far, where the developer have used several sites and channels to better understand codes been used and how it properly works.
