As in mapbox/mapbox-gl-styles#81, it is patched to use english for all places and RTL language(e.g. arabic) cannot be handled
To show chinese name for HK, patch the style config to use for name} instead of {name_en} for @name

The way to handle requests is inspired by deployd. Although it work well, it is still experimental. Some points to note:

1. there are overlapping use of http and websocket. In theory, websocket can replace http request entirely, but I still want to use hapi validate and authentication feature which for http only. Meanwhile, I want to have bidirectional communication.
2. I do not care the philosophy behind restful api. IMHO, restful api is limiting and it would be easier and write less code if ignoring it.

From our experience it will be easier to maintain as github page
Let's pull out parts that are static

we should also dockerize below at least for dev, and consider use of online web services at prd

• elasticsearch
• mysql db

mapbox gl is bleeding edge, which is not very mature at this stage esp on react-native

MapboxJS

it is an extension of leafletJS, mature enough and we can leverage some mapbox services

It is chosen over Mapbox gl for the front page visualization as the latter one can't

• render markers with dynamic image (social photo)
  although it might be more consistent to unite the map used at web / client

Mapbox gl at react-native

• not available at android at all for now
