Phonebook App allows you to manage your contact list. It is a web application that uses Sevlet & JSP for server side programming and MySQL as DataBase. The feature of this simple application includes adding, updating, deleting, viewing and searching the contacts in the PhoneBook. Here, we can perform the CRUD operations with a search functionality. This whole system is built using Java programming language with the help of Eclipse IDE.

The users can view the contacts saved in its directory only after logging into their account.

In order to add a contact, the user has to first login into his account and then he/she can enter the person’s details which contains its name, phone number, email, gender and about information. For updating records, you just have to click on any individual record, edit it and press “Enter key” to save.

For editing a record, you have to click on the edit button after logging into their account. Likewise, for deleting a record, you have to click on the delete button after logging into their account.

The application connects to a MySQL database that holds users record. Such as their names, phone numbers, email address etc. Design of this project is very simple so that the user won’t find any difficulties while working on it. To run this project you must have installed Eclipse IDE and virtual server i.e Apache Tomcat on your PC.
