I seem to see that the plugin does not catch all entries copied: it seem s to catch only when Cerebro comes to front.

OS: macOS Sonoma (14.0).
Cerebro clipboard plugin: 1.2.1
Cerebro 0.11.0

Could it be that setInterval that is disabled when cerebro is not to front?

Is there any way to remove items from the clipboard history?

Now user looses clipboard history after Cerebro restart. Would be cool to store clipboard history for a while. As a default configuration could be 24 hours for text inputs and 1 hour for images.

The idea here is to mimic Alfred's snippet feature.

Implementation would make clipboard items saveable and possibly re-callable via keywords.

I cant drag files or folders after installing cerebro and some plugins. I think that is related to the clipboard plugin since there's an issue with clipboard apps.

Hello,

a simple function to clear the clipboard history would be nice.

It could be activated by entering "clear clipboard" in Cerebro.

I'm using Cerebro v0.3.1, on Elementary OS 0.4 Loki.

I can't seem to be able to do anything with plugins clipboard or any other plugin.
Am I missing something? Was the feature removed, or do I have to get an index of plugins from somewhere for this to work?

Or do you have an alternate way to install this?

As per this discussion cerebroapp/cerebro#166, has there been any progress on accessing the clipboard directly from a keyboard shortcut?

I'm new to Cerebro so apologies if this is old hat, but I couldn't find any mention of it since the issue above (from 2017).

Steps to reproduce:

1. Copy "item 1" to clipboard
2. Copy "item 2" to clipboard
3. Use this plugin to copy the "item 1" into clipboard
4. View plugin's clipboard history
5. Notice how "item 1" has been removed from the history and "item 2 " remains

Is this the intended behavior? It is very inconvenient to properly manage clipboard history with this behavior.

The desired effect would be the following:

• display clipboard history in "chronological" order (values recently added to the top)
• if a value is copied from the clipboard history, that item gets moved to the top, and is not removed from history
• if an a value which is already in the clipboard history is copied externally, do not duplicate the value in the history, move it to the top of the history
• If memory usage is an issue, expose a setting which would allow the user to specify how large the clipboard history should get
