Colorue

Colorue is a simple, but effective drawing app for iOS. Join our Discord if you are interested in getting involved in development.

Getting started

  1. git clone https://github.com/colorue/ios.git
  2. cd ios
  3. pod install
  4. open -a xcode Colorue.xcworkspace
  5. Update the Target signing team
  6. Run the project with ⌘R

Dark mode

Right now dark mode looks bad. Make the logo and buttons white with a back header. Maybe the blank canvas could be black too?

Toggle line snap

Add a line snap toggle to settings so users can disable line, curve, and circle snapping.

Crash on save

Describe the bug
One time a drawing I'd been working on for awhile crashed and didn't save when I clicked "Save". Maybe this was due to the undoStack getting too big?

Onboarding Screens

Teach new users how to use the app with a series of screens. Show examples of drawings in the background. Maybe a scrolling gif with lots of drawings

Multiple active drawings

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I want to be able to go edit old drawings and I don't want to need to delete the canvas after saving

Describe the solution you'd like
A DrawingViewController where I can view and open old drawings or create a new drawing

Can't draw in from the edges

It would be nice for stokes to be able to start outside (above or below) the canvas and start once they stroke into the canvas
