If we want to add these to the track there will need to be some PRs created on that repo adding in these exercises.

Given that a student already writes a split-string type function in an early core exercise (word-count) I don't think split-string needs to be added to the track unless we change it up a bit to show/teach something more than just splitting on a delimiter .

The other ones however seem interesting and I'd like to see them submitted so discussion of their inclusion in the track can proceed.
