Clock for Visual Studio Code

Shows clock in status bar in Visual Studio Code, even in full screen mode.

Usage

When the extension is installed, a clock will be displayed on the lower right hand corner.

The date time format can be changed via preferences

File > Preferences > User Settings
Adds the following line
- "clock.dateFormat": "hh:MM TT"
- Date format can be found at https://github.com/felixge/node-dateformat

To insert the clock into the selection, you can either click on the clock on status bar, or use the Command Palette.

Bring up Command Palette (F1, or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows and Linux, or Shift+CMD+P on OSX)
Type or select "Clock: Insert date and time"

You can also modify keyboard shortcut with JSON below.

Separate dateFormat configuration for clock.insertDateTime

Might be nice to have a different format to insert into the editor than is displayed on the status bar. Nice to have only, still 5 stars

2 clocks on status bar

Suggestion

have 2 clocks display on status bar.

Use case...

I work in GMT +8, but while configuring my servers, which are set to UTC. I wish to have 2 clocks on my status bar.

Position change feature

There must be an option to change the position of clock in status bar from bottom right corner to the bottom left corner or in the middle of somewhere in status bar. Even like to move the clock from status bar to side bar. For me it is really important feature.

Not working on latest VS Code version

VS Code Version info:

simply does not add the clock to the status bar. It should be right here.

How do i change the timezone?

Hi,
The clock shows the UTC time, and not my local time.
How do i set it?

Localize strings (day, month)

With VSC being fully localized, the always-english names for days and months look a little out of place.

While it would be nice to recognize the system-language and have a list of all days/months in all languages and pick the proper one, it would probably be enough to expose both arrays via settings, so users who wish localized strings, can input them theirselves.
