My continuous integration is failing when trying to install tinytex. Here's the top-level report:

There's also a warning that Node.js 12 is deprecated.

It would be nice to highlight math environments (theorem, proposition, example, lemma, corollary, proof -- I'm not sure if all are supported by quarto). My suggestion is to have a colored (or gray) background for those.

I guess it's just a matter of defining the desired decoration in a custom css (or sass) as described in https://quarto.org/docs/output-formats/html-themes.html#theme-options

The instructions for Mac OS X are missing the critical instructions to

• install the R package Cairo
• install the Mac OS X application XQuartz and restart (pkg link at https://www.xquartz.org)

Without XQuartz installed, rendering produces cryptic error messages about devices not being open (which I can no longer reproduce after installing XQuartz).

It is also missing the instruction to

• update quarto to version 1.2.x

Without the update, it doesn't recognize the add instruction in the doc.

P.S. I started with a working quarto 1.0.x install.
