Generates a changelog message by looking at Jira issue keys, surrounded by square brackets (i.e. [DEV-123]), in the git commit logs. When it finds one, it associates that Jira issue ticket with that commit and adds it to the output.
Looks like a great action but can't manage to actually get it to work properly.
I keep getting all the commits, like from the begining of time, and is not respecting the fromto flags that I pass in. Is there anything that has to be done in a special manner to make it respect those?
Tried the command as listed npm install @connorsmallman/[email protected] as well as searching for the title "github-jira-changelog-action" on NPM website. It does not exist.
fatal: ambiguous argument 'main..feature': unknown revision or path not in the working tree.
Use '--' to separate paths from revisions, like this:
'git [...] -- [...]'
