Robodog "Antenni" is an electronic dog built from LEGO Mindstorms NXT, Arduino and Raspberry Pi. It can be controled from a browser using web interface.
Components:
Chassis build from Lego Mindstorms NXT
Speaker and accelerometer mounted on the bottom side of chassis
"Brain" of the robodog: Raspberry Pi
Arduino MEGA 2560 controls motors and sensors
Lego NXT mottors are connected via OpeneElectrons NXShield-M attached to the bottom of Arduino
Power circuit provides stabilized 5V for Raspberry Pi
Infrared proximity sensors allow Antenni to "see" it reached edge of the table
The head of the robodog is mounted on servo pan/tilt brackets
"Eyes" of Antenni is an ultrasonic range sensor. The "nose" is a web camera:
