The particle effect that appears in the header on the home page is not visible on other pages. Refer to the image below.

The POTW link in the timeline routes the google doc. Change it to reroute to the POTW page on the website.

No change while hovering over the social handle icons, making them a bit more responsive will make the website more appealing.

For this, the file to be worked on is _includes/sections/about.html.

On decreasing the width of the window, the navigation bar shifts to another line. It is expected that the navigation menu stays on the same line.

Suggestion to add twitter handle to cops main webpage

The entire CSOC page has content shifted to the right hand side. Note that the issue is only in the desktop site.

The dropdown options under CSOC are directing only to the CSOC page but not to the specific section due to initial redirection to /resources/csoc2020/ instead of directly redirecting to /events/csoc/

Description

Css styling in some parts of the website is broken in Firefox. Please refer the screenshots attached to get more context.

Environment

Browser : Firefox 95.0.2 (64 bit)
OS : MacOS Big Sur

NOTE: I have not installed any plugins in firefox that might mess with the css

The project section on the home page is unresponsive.
On decreasing the width of the window, the projects section appears as seen in the picture. Refer to the image below.

twitter / X handle must be added under social media section

Buttons do not come back to original color once clicked and we have to click somewhere else on the page to bring them back to original color. Similar to one the previously mentioned issues regarding the navbar contents color change on clicking.

COPS logo is missing on the website.
Add it in the header.

Was wondering if we can add COPS Youtube channel link alongside other social media handles in About Us Section?

This page has few issues with smaller screens.
For smaller screens

• The camera icon appears on the next line. It is expected to stay on the same line.
• The whole content is indented towards the right.

An essential document from the original COPS POTW with an article titled "C to CPP" is missing from the POTW which is currently published in the website. It should be considered to be added here too.

Search icon on the blog page needs to be modified.
It should be more like a floating action button fixed at the bottom of the page.
( similar to the social icons on the homepage )

CSOC Leaderboard section needs to be added in the CSOC page.
The structure of the leaderboard should be similar to that of the POTW page -

• should have three dropdown lists (one for each ML, Dev, CP )
• each list should display a table listing the name, institute, and points of the participants.

The timeline in its present state occupies a lot of vertical space which is bad design for navigation.
It should display a preset amount( say x) of entries by default and have a button to expand the list.

Currently, the description on the CSOC page is center aligned. The alignment of the text needs to be changed to justify.

1. Switch to dark mode.
2. Click on CSOC tab.
3. Hover over home.
4. Now unhover.

When you unhover you will notice that the color of home tab changes to black and it becomes impossible to read it because of the black background.

After the new cdn for Agency FB font was used, spacing between the letters of the COPS logo is disturbed

When the cursor hovers the navbar text with a drop-down, it highlights but to restore it is required to click outside. It works fine with text having no drop-down.

In the TIMELINE Section, the heading "TIMELINE" is of the same color as that of the background in Dark Mode, due to which one can't see it. Also, the background of the entire section has light colors in spite of the dark mode.
(Allow me to open a PR if you think this is a valid issue)

According to the official documentation, it's recommended to put Jekyll plugins in an own group as plugin-gems gets special treatment

On hovering the mouse over the Navbar links the color changes to black however it does not revert back to white after the cursor is moved from there.
