This repository contains a SwiftUI Xcode template for The Composable Architecture (short: TCA).

Quickly create all components of a TCA stack using the template in Xcode and focus on implementing your feature 🚀

How to use 🛠

Use the install script.

swift install.swift

ℹ️ If the script fails for whatever reason just copy the TheComposableArchitecture.xctemplate directory into the directory /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/Library/Xcode/Templates/Project Templates/iOS/Application.

⚠️ This template is a project template (not a file template). That's why Xcode does not show the template in the new file wizard when you are working on a Swift package (when you opened a Package.swift with Xcode).

Problem installing the template

Hi, I have an issue installing the template.
Running swift install.swift leaves me with You don’t have permission error (same running with sudo)
I've copied the TheComposableArchitecture.xctemplate directory to the /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/Library/Xcode/Templates/Project Templates/iOS/Application folder and I still cannot see a new template using File > New > Project... in Xcode. Am I doing something wrong? :)

Update for TCA template to version 1.0?

First off, thank you so much for your work! I've been using it and find it very valuable.

I wanted to inquire if you have plans to update the TCA template to version 1.0? I'm looking to utilize it in my upcoming project, and having an updated template would be fantastic.
