it was a very interesting series to read on hackaday: https://hackaday.com/series_of_posts/pcie-for-hackers/

In the last post you mentioned that you have completed the board and you would share your experiences along the design on github.
What is the last state of the board? Do you by any chance have in mind to put it up somewhere to order or to share the design?

A use-case as you mentioned, many people seem to be looking for such adapters for Coral Dual Edge TPU without any luck.

This is more of a question to ask if you need help with this.

I wanted to do is related to this. I want to replace the framework motherboard with a custom raspberry pi board. The display would be the hardest part of this journey. So if you need help figuring this out i can see what i can do.

I would appreciate if you could reply to this issue.

I'm using a typeE slot with your adapter to insta an SSD.

SSD is Samsung PM991A, usually found in Steam decks.

Write speed is very low (max 50MB/s) and I believe this SSD is much more capable even with a single PCIe lane.

Are those resistors you mention in readme affecting this performance?

Also, during this write operation this SSD gets really hot (above 100C!).

Any help would be great, please.

I like your framework stuff, and I know you have some good stuff in here based on what i saw you post on discord, but you need to put some of that in here too so it's easier to browse.

At least a pdf for each project might help. I know that might be annoying, perhaps invest in https://github.com/nerdyscout/kicad-exports ?

I'm trying to use your converter to insert an NVMe SSD (M) to an E-type socket in a NanoPi R5C.

However in dmesg, I got a bunch of errors, like:

pci 0000:01:00.0: 4.000 Gb/s available PCIe bandwidth, limited by 5.0 GT/s PCIe x1 link at 0000:00:00.0 (capable of 15.752 Gb/s with 8.0 GT/s PCIe x2 link)
sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/devices/platform/3c0800000.pcie/pci0002:20/0002:20:00.0/config'
sysfs: cannot create duplicate filename '/devices/platform/3c0800000.pcie/pci0002:20/0002:20:00.0/0002:21:00.0/config'

Can you help me with this please? I soldered all jumpers anyway.
