Translate selected text does not work under Wayland (Fedora 40 KDE) about crow-translate HOT 9 OPEN

Hello, guys.
I had the same problem running on openSUSE Tumbleweed.
Running the app in the command line, I noticed the warning: qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "". The error disappeared after I installed libqt5-qtwayland. Now, the source window is correctly populated, and the translation works.

I wonder if it is due to openSUSE using qt6-wayland by default, but I'm not sure.

@resiehnnes, perhaps you can try https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/qt5-qtwayland/qt5-qtwayland/ and see if it solves the issue for you on Fedora.

@guinuxbr Hello, and thanks for your feedback. Both packages (qt6-qtwayland, qt5-qtwayland) were installed on my system, so it seems the problem hides somewhere else..

Could you ensure that Crow runs under Wayland and not via XWayland? You can verify it using xlsclients.

Crow is unable to select text in all applications or only in specific ones? Perhaps this application is launched under Xwayland?

I have two internet browsers, ungoogled-chromium (flatpak) and firefox (rpm). Each runs under different protocol as I believe looking at what xlsclients command brings up:
