Well that is an openssl issue, not a cryptodev one. There is a pending patch for openssl (since many years - but I've just sent an update for it), and it's better to comment there rather than here.

Thanks for the link. I forgot to mention that I did use the eng_cryptodev.c provided in this repository. I'll test with the patches provided on the page linked above. Cheers.

Still any breakage of openssl should be preferably reported to openssl team directly; we have too limited resources to act as a middle man. Most importantly though, they will never know that a change they did breaks cryptodev unless someone reports that.

Yep it workd perfectly, though for the patches to apply on 1.0.1h these 2 commits are required (i am mentioning this for anyone else reading this later)
