OpenCCSharp is a (WIP) .NET 8 library for Chinese text script variant conversion. This project is inspired by BYVoid/OpenCC, and used similar approach in word segmentation. This project also used the same conversion dictionary in OpenCC project.

While the v0.0.1-int.6 of the packages support both .NET 6.0 and .NET 8.0, further versions might drop support for .NET 6.0 as this .NET SDK reaching its EOL.

This library is in its very early INT phase and its API is still subject to drastic changes. There is also much optimizations yet to be employed.

To install the NuGet package with preset Chinese variant converters, use

For now there is no detailed usage documented here, but you can getting started by playing with OpenCCSharp.Presets.ChineseConversionPresets.

This project also powers OpenCC# WebApp, a serverless Chinese variant conversion web app, with the help of WASM.

Benchmark

Currently, this library looks generally 3x faster than the OpenCC library implemented in native C++ on Ubuntu.

轉換到/從日本語新字體、舊字體失敗

使用了下面的測試文字:
韋伯的任務是尋找最早、最遙遠的恆星和星系,這些恆星和星系出現在137億年前,從宇宙大爆炸(發生在138億年前)後的塵霧中誕生。

不管是Hans、Hant、HK、TW(Shinjitai、Kyujitai之外的所有選項),轉換到Kyujitai、Shinjitai失敗,有下面的信息:
