Development environment

VSCode
VSCode Remote Containers
Clone git clone https://github.com/CyberLight/caninclude-v2
Go to cloned project repo folder cd caninclude
Open in VSCode code .
In popup menu click by Reopen in Container
Whew!

CLI Commands

# serve web part with hot reload at localhost:8080 and api part on localhost:8081 
# with proxying traffic from /api to web /api to localhost:8081
npm run dev

# build for production with minification
npm run build

# test the production build locally
npm run serve

# launches linting of the whole project
npm run lint

# launches only api:dev server at localhost:8081
api:dev

Hi! Please use page to show parent <-> child [<->] button and the results

Hi! Please return back the [<->] button
Because I need to check information for parent <-> child and back child <-> parent from one screen.
I do not want to open 2 different pages for this, this very inconvenient!
Previously it worked one page. Now it requires go back to previous page.

<details /> tag accept only <summary/>

Hey!

I see the the <details /> tag accept only <summary/> and show an error for any else tags.

for example:

<a/> - https://caninclude.glitch.me/caninclude?child=a&parent=details
<p/> - https://caninclude.glitch.me/caninclude?child=p&parent=details
<span/> - https://caninclude.glitch.me/caninclude?child=span&parent=details
<div/> - https://caninclude.glitch.me/caninclude?child=div&parent=details

I guess it's a bug.

Issues validating <label>

I tried validating if svg could be a child of label and the page seems to error out. I get a warning saying "Some values from parameters were not found" and the webpage shows skeleton components. I tried using Vivaldi (Chrome) and Firefox and got the same results.

If I change the child to something like p or button, the validation works. So it seems to be choking on svg?

DT and DD can be allowed inside a DIV if it’s a child of a DL

Instead of “No, you can't!” showing up, it should be either “Doubt?!” or something else that indicate that it is possible under some conditions.

Firefox: buttons in header displays with scrollbar

In Firefox header looks like:

svg is not added

the svg tag is not recognized

Why are label hidden?

Hello,

It's more a question than an issue.

On the form labels are hidden using the class sr-only.

What is the reasoning behind that choice?
When you start writing, the placeholder is hidden and you loose the ability to know what input is for what element resulting in a bad experience.

Add support for old links with /can/include/ to /caninclude

Note that the URL for specific comparisons has changed. The old links included /can/include/ while the new ones are just /caninclude/.

caninclude isn't running

It gives me these pages.

The console is giving me this error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()

I am not sure that you need this information. But, here is some information about my device.

Brave Browser v1.40.107
Chromium v103.0.5060.53
Also, I use Windows 10

I hope you fix the issue as soon as you can. 🙂
