Things look good in Chrome with the CORS unblocker you had once recommended, in any case.

• pro: easier as far as CORS goes
• con: would need to handle CORS here to prevent further usage

I know we use some sort of gh-pages deploy for pkgdown website previews, but it's not a great workflow in the case several posts are in PR state at the same time.

Based on our meeting with @christophsax this is a placeholder ticket for (minor) blog layout polishing (cc. @maelle):

• make the cards/tiles more like https://cynkra.com/about/

When we want to publish a new post with some OG image, the link to that image in the head is an absolute URL. But it's an absolute URL that only exists after publication. However we try to check the links before publication.

@maelle Thanks for your work so far! I've noted down some of my observations while looking at the new site. They are mainly cosmetic details, and I am not responsible for these (@christophsax is) but maybe they are still helpful...

• Align navbar height in dark and light theme
• Align container width of post preview's between dark and light theme
• Align button colors (e.g. page buttons) of both dark and light theme with cynkraweb colors
• Add a workflow for previews in PRs (copy from cynkraweb)
• Dark theme: navbar should also be dark
• Align link color in posts with blue used in cynkraweb
• Don't linebreak "Except where otherwise noted, content on this blog is licensed under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license."
• Align capitalization in navbar dropdowns with cynkraweb.
• Can we link the author names in posts to https://cynkra.com/about?

Further questions

• Do we want the "reader mode toggle" switch?
• how to stay in sync with changes in cynkraweb? Can we use the cynkraweb navbar in cynkrablog dynamically?

On Mac safari, the fixed width font is a bit ugly:

Alternatively, I could switch the link in the cynkraweb to https://cynkra.github.io/cynkrablog/. I don't have a problem with that, but it looks a bit uglier, and external links break if we switch back.

Previously existing links are breaking anyway, right?

If in doubt, I would opt for the faster solution.

I guess some kind of preview is built during a PR, but how can I access it?
