spiflasher's Issues

discrepancy in Pi instructions

Hi,

I followed the Raspbery Pi guide closely, which may have been a mistake? After I couldn't see the chip I checked things again, looked at other guides and it seems the 1st Pin (CS) isn't supposed to be connected to 3v3? Even the images on the guide doesn't match.

And the guide for c341 seems to have wired them differently too. So, did I just fry my chip?

WyzeCam V2 which chip to flash?

I am looking at my torn apart Wyzecam V2 and I see two potential chips and I'm not sure which one is the one I need to reflash. The one on the main board with the camera or the one on the board with the USB port?

Also, is this chip a 25xx or a 24xx?

WyzeCam V3

Would this work on a bricked Wyzecam V3?

I was attempting to flash rtsp firmware when power was cut right after it was flashing. The camera no longer boots. You can hear the a click and see a brief flash of the ir led and then nothing happens. Occasionally the status led will stay red when it is powered on and it will stay red no mater what I try and it's seemingly random.

Clip worked for me

Perhaps a needless issue, but just wanted to note here that after many tries, a clip did wind up working for me. Perhaps there is enamel or flux or something on the pins, or they need to be bent in slightly or something, but it did indeed work for me.

Name of the chip?

I broke one of the legs of the chip while trying to reprogram it. What is the name of the chip so I can try ordering more? Does @EliasKotlyar know?

Need European fullflash.bin Wyze cam 2

Can anyone download a full flash of the European firmware from wyze cam 2 (2ANJHWYZEC2) which works with the standard wyze application ... After an unsuccessful firmware flash I can only make the hack work normally, I want to return my native firmware.
One of these days I will write how to return the brick to working condition only for hack firmware ...
Now it works, but it cannot be added in the application ...
