My name is Dana, my pronouns are she/they, and I am a Staff Engineer at the Economist 👩‍💻

Currently, I am part of the team that builds and maintains The Economist's website 💻

I do a lot of work around stability, performance, observability and infrastructure, as well as regularly contributing to the front end application that our users see every day.

I have obtained my Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect Associate AWS certifications and am seriously considering going for Developer Associate next 👩‍🎓

I have taught the Web Development course at the Code First Girls bootcamp and am a mentor for the School of Code bootcamp. I have just signed up as a coach for the Birmingham chapter of Codebar 👩‍🏫
