I am to lazy to do a pull request at the moment, so here is an update. If you add this code you will be able to keep the .modal-open class when people close one of the modals.

	$(".modal").on("hidden.bs.modal", function() {
		if (bbm_modals.length >= 1) {
			$('body').addClass('modal-open');
		}
	});

Would it be possible to add a feature that instead of showing all modals it will hide every modal except the very last one shown, and work its way back words as you close them.

Okay, so this is just me being curious, what is the point of the bbm_modals variable. It looks like it is used to store the modals, but there ins't any logical reason for doing this that I can understand. So I am just curious why you are doing it?
