Need build instructions for Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download freequartz with subversion 
2. try to find directions on the linux install, but you can't
3. try guessing at a configure command, but include files aren't in the 
expected paths

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected a top level directory with a configure script and INSTALL file.
Instead found several directories, some with no Makefile or Configure script

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Can not compile freequartz for Android NDK

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I tried to compile freequartz for using in Android NDK but so many error
