When checking out the repo and running ng serve, an error gets generated that the 'rsvp' module could not be found. The resolution is to dump the directory node_modules and do a npm install. In my opinion the node_modules should not be committed to the repository.

which will only support Node 6.9 and greater. This package will be officially deprecated
shortly after.

To disable this warning use "ng set --global warnings.packageDeprecation=false".

You have to be inside an angular-cli project in order to use the serve command.

I am getting this error and tried several times to uninstall and reinstalling angular/cli

In tasks-list.component.css I think you are missing the css for 'task-checkbox'.
