obsidian-mathlive's Issues

2 Suggestions

Thank you very much you make my academic life a lot easier! Now i can learn LaTeX on the go while working effectively.

  1. Youve done a great job implementing keyboard input on the virtual keyboard. However i am missing switching between the 4 tabs (numeric, symbol, roman greek) with a press of the hardware keyboard. I suggest using the Tab key for this. Tab is currently used for switching to the insert button and this closes the virtual keyboard. I suggest you implement pressing enter to close the virtual keyboard. After that you could either press tab again to go to the insert button or pressing enter again for insertin (for this the cursor has to jump to the insert button after pressing enter the first time

  2. It would be great to have an option on a free place on the virtual keyboard where you can toggle if you want to use inline $examplecode$ or outline $$examplecode$$ LaTeX instead of always using outline by default before inserting

Thanks !

Not an issue, just a warm and big thank you for this great add-on to the Obsidian community.
You made this peace of the puzzle that was missing.

Thank you very much for this awesome work !

Wrong LaTex code for arrows

When i select the following signs from the virtual keyboard it gives me the wron LaTeX codes and thus theyre not working. Im not sure if some plugin messes this up only for me but i suggest you try how it works for you.

Right codes that works for me:
$\Rightarrow$ \Rightarrow
$\Leftarrow$ \Leftarrow
$\Leftrightarrow$ \Leftrightarrow
$\leftarrow$ \leftarrow
$\rightarrow$ \rightarrow

Code that is actually used on virtual keyboard:
rArr
lArr
lrArr
rarr
larr

Hard to read in dark mode

While editing certain parts of an equation in dark mode, it gets highlighted in a color which makes it very hard to read
(I apologize if this is an issue with something else and not this particular plugin in specific, I'm not sure exactly how obsidian works)

Screenshot attached.

It also gets highlighted in light mode, but it's very readable in light mode.

On Fedora Linux 38 if it matters.

No issues anymore im a noob, i figured out that I need to toggle the plugin first to use the plugin lol

[Bug] invisible Buttons

Hi,

first of all, great idea with the Plugin, this is something i have been searching for a while now.

Maybe this is already known, but there seems to be a problem with some of the Buttons on the keyboard being invisible.
They still work if you press them.

I installed only this Plugin in a brand new Vault to eliminate possible conflicts with other Plugins.

Obsidian Version: 1.3.5

How to actually get started?

I might be too incompetent to get this installed.
How do I use the image scanning feature? Why does signing in not actually do anything? I purchased tokens. I put in the API key in Obsidian. Why does it fail to scan my clipboard? Is this some kind of scam? Well, congrats. Either way, you're five bucks richer, I guess.
