Generated apk shows an empty map with a red dot inside

Expected Behavior

After apk installation, app must show current creatureGo functionalities (map, 3d, etc)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure all android required tools in linux
  2. Clone https://github.com/SophiaHadash/CreatureGOClient.git
  3. Generate google map api key and configure it in cloned repository
  4. Execute gradle assemble
  5. Install generated apk in some android device
  6. Start the application

Environment

  • Ubuntu 16.04
  • Java 8
  • Android tools, sdk, etc
  • Gradle 4
  • Android device : 4.4.4

I tried to compile your repository but I had no luck because there is no file or explanation.

Is it possible to share some tips with the aim of being able to compile the application in android or ios?
