I got compilation errors on my Ubuntu 18.04, and it's related to missing <SDL.h> header.

make[4]: sdl-config: Command not found
gcc -O2    -c -o conv.o conv.c
gcc -O2    -c -o gfx.o gfx.c
gfx.c:5:10: fatal error: SDL.h: No such file or directory
 #include <SDL.h>
          ^~~~~~~

I'm assuming that the project requires a dependency of SDL 1.X, not SDL 2.X.

I would like to request that the Readme section add this to the system requirements.

crypt.h seems to be missing from the utils folder
