add centered search bar to welcome screen. will likley have its own id- to confirm with brandon / soumik if thats ok.

Ideas

• Re-use some code from weather dashboard homework
• Keep it simple in the name of MVP

Historic Weather feature has been completed and pushed up for review to pull into origin main.

For the data to show; you must have local storage keys for now. The AJAX call works but it currently commented out to prevent spending query credits.

• It would be nice if users can save "tiles" of details so that they can come back to the app and resume.
• This would be a great addition for users who want to keep POIs, restaurants, clubs, bars, etc...

Add individual pin buttons on each pin for 1,1 delete

Investigate into general city apis for getting population...

When entering a value in the search bar and pressing the ENTER key on the keyboard, it does nothing.

Expectation:

• The ENTER key should trigger the click function

Thoughts

• In BootStrap, a button and a input field within a form will work together so that the ENTER key clicks the search button.
• Not sure what the equivalant is in our framework.

Food tiles continue to loop for previous city even though you switch to another city... each new city adds a loop and you can see the previous cities food

Favorite function not working. Please fix logic.

Work on Restaurant APIs to sort out data retrieval and data selection

• How do we ensure we are searching the same city/state between all apis?
  • One idea is to choose a single API to grab the STATE & CITY ZIP CODE from the first returned result that is in the US and then set that as the global State Variable

• Add logic to display 3rd month of averages

It autofills and overides format and doesnt look good. The dropdown is also misaligned.
