dm-ferret-adapter's Issues

the :id assumption

Very useful! Unfortunately it broke right away due to widespread assumption about keys in the model. I skimmed the source and it seems to assume the primary key is :id. Exactly in the cases where I need search my model uses a natural key. The the thing is coming down with when attempting to call search on the class.

Any chance of a quick fix or am I on my own? Great stuff, please keep it up. :)

Unable to install due to Ferret errors

When trying to gem install dm-ferret-adapter I get the exception that is specified in the following ferret issue:

dbalmain/ferret#4

The work around for Ferret works, however, because the dm-ferret-adapter is using ferret and not sdsykes-ferret, I am getting the same issue. I'm pretty new to this whole Ruby thing so maybe there is an easy way for me to get around this. Does anybody have any suggestions for me?
