Background

This problem is related to the HackerRank problem Click-o-Mania. In short, a board is filled with different coloured blocks. You can select a block with 1 or more adjacent blocks of the same colour to pop it. Doing this will cause blocks above to fall down and to the left. The objective is to the game is pop all the blocks on the board. The first game has 2 different colours, the second 3, 5 and 6.

Problem

I cannot pass the games with 5 or 6 different colours.

In order to test your code you will need to have an account with HackerRank so you can see your results. Otherwise suggestions are welcome to.

My strategy

Keep the columns at level heights
Reduce the number of single cells, start with the tallest column to shortest column, from bottom row to top
