Tableau is useful tool for the complex analysis in easy way.

Generating parameters, filters and analytics of data with multiple dimesion is possible with Tableau.

In same platform you can make own dashboard presentation, which is best ever for the Storytelling in Data Scinece.

(Gender, Age and Economical Sector wise data-insights)

Objective : 

For social cause create Tableau Dashboard for...

  • Canada’s Census data analysis for getting bankruptcy ratio by gender and age in different provinces.
  • Get Canadian industry-wise economical analysis for bankruptcy for the year 2014 open source economical data.

Tool used:

Tableau 10 (version: Public) -2019

Dashboard Descriptions:

Home Page:

  • Depicts Province wise and an average of all province (Canada)’s Total Bankrupt Numbers in digit which reveals that the top three provinces were Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia in descending order, where lowest in Yukon province region with just 22.
  • Total average of Canada is 10,454.23
  • Total Canada wide bankrupts were 135,910 where proposals for that were 108,628
  • The dashboard gave another insight with button options of “Go to gender/age analysis”, and “Go to economical analysis.

Gender Age Analysis:

  • With Heatmapping type table presentation, we can easily realize the highest bankruptcy of 18.40% in Northwest Territories with people between 40-45 and 50-55 age range.
  • In the average age group table, the lowest bankrupts were Youth, with just 2.44 % rate. Where ager group between 40-44 were the largest group among all.
  • The lower side of the dashboard gave an idea about gender contribution in bankruptcy. With separation, we can get an intuition about gender-wise bankrupts.
  • At front of the page, we have a filter for province wise data insight. For British Columbia. Alberta and Ontario its as follow:

Economic sector analysis:

  • It is most important for the government or financial institute for making their strategy to get an idea about implementing the best strategy with sector understanding.
  • Left sideline and area graph shows rate changing in bankruptcy, where the right sidebar graph is showing each sector distribution of bankruptcy vs proposal graph. Construction is the biggest sector where public administration hasn’t any bankruptcy.
