There's a bug in recursive_copy() in nethook.py.
In lines 224 and 226 you call recursively to recursive_copy(v) without setting the values to clone/detach/retain_grad.

This library looks like it's able to be installed by pip via git, so it should already be in a format to allow publishing on PyPI. Publishing this on PyPI would allow this library to be versioned so it's possible to install it as a dependency of a project, and then know that the project won't break in the future due to an update to this library. The versioning can also indicate to downstream users when breaking changes have occurred, and when it's safe to upgrade the library by following semantic versioning.
