Dawn of Time : Builder Edition is a mod made for Minecraft architect lover as much as beginner as expert. Since this mod have been created by two Minecraft builder everything is balanced to improve and make your building experience perfect : clean inventory and well organized, a lot of different skin for one block, connectivity between blocks, 3D armors, etc…Our mod add nearly 300 new blocks to your game !

Build

Create a release with ./gradlew assemble. Release will be in build/libs/.

Test the release with a local forge client with ./gradlew runClient

[1.20.1] Not all blocks breakable in survival

As-is
Having just added this mod to my modpack I noticed that despite items being craftable in survival, once placed down a few items don't have a tool/breaking configured (Jade mod is also not reporting a tool to be used for some and breaking-progress is red), causing it to take longer to break than necessary.

Haven't tested every block, but the list below should help track down what the issue is.

Current (known) list of blocks

No-tool + no-hardness (breaks with obsidian-speed):

  • Stone brick fireplace (Limestone is fine oddly enough!)
  • Candlestick
  • Portcullis
  • All marble
  • Plastered stone + variants
  • Roofing
  • Stone brick chimney

No-tool (breaks with stone-speed):

  • All wood variants (edge, plate, pergola, etc)
  • All paper blocks
  • All Thatch

Double doors with Quark not opening in 1.20.1

Hi, not sure if this is where to post this issue, but I came across a bug where all doors from this mod won't open when they are connected double doors. Single doors open fine, as do double doors that face the same direction, but when attempting to open two doors the sound of opening occurs, but they are not opened nor can you go through. I'm using the 1.5.7 build.

It isn't game breaking and doesn't cause crashes, but if I had to guess it might be a compatibility issue with quark's double door opening (or maybe mods that add opening both doubles doors in general) because when quark was removed or the double door feature was disabled the doors would open fine.

Love the mod by the way, one of my favorites! Let me know if this isn't where to post and if I need to post elsewhere.

Connected Textures Mod Does Your Mod Dirty

Recently, the Connected Textures mod has only caused problems on versions 1.16-1.18, and I would really LOVE to use your mod to create a building world. However, its almost impossible considering that connected textures just crashes with ANY mod. I'm trying to isolate the problem, but I looked at their issues page and its just a whole lot of. "this mod sucks, its outdated and crashes with everything.

I understand that it takes a whole lot of time to rewrite mods and what not, so this is simply a question. Will you guys divert from using the Connected textures mod in the future? I understand that may not be a possibility, but it does not seem like they are willing to properly update their mod anytime soon...

Love this mod btw, and you guys have done great work updating it to the most recent versions. I will do everything in my power to have this mod on my world lol! # #

Silkmoths never despawns

There a possible lag provider if player build a mulberry farm.
Silkmoths can spawn at any time, not only on morning (thanks, wiki) and not despawns, like any other frienly-neutral creature.

Missing wood types for decorative wood-based blocks?

I don't know if it's me but are those wood types missing? Particularly: Bamboo, Cherry, and Mangrove.

Plate, Edge, Support Slab, Support Beam, Beam, Wall, Pergola, and Lattices are all missing for those wood types.

Birch couch

Hello,

I use your mod for some decoration but I discover a small duplication bug.
When you break a birch couch, two birch couch items drops.
It's maybe because it's a bock who is two block large and the loot tables doesn't work ?

Silk worm bug

So i downloaded Dawn of time into a custom modpack with some friends and I looked to find silk worms, I checked a dozen biomes to find none, So we spawned me the plant and the egg to get started because of I couldnt find them, i then was able to get silk but then recently I placed the hatchery on the drying plate and when it finished it was an empty plate and I didnt get the silk worms.

Disabling plants and bug with planting rice

Plants like mulberry and camellia continue to generate in the world even if their blocks and items are disabled. They only drop sticks in this case, but it'd be better if they didn't generate at all.
Rice can be planted in water deeper than one block, leaving it floating. This also tends to happen when targeting a block further away from you; instead of being planted above the solid block you're looking at, it'll be planted in the closer water block the crosshairs are pointed at.

Skin Issue

Mi problema con el mod es que la armadura de O-yoroi, especificamente el casco, no permite visualizar mi skin. Probe quitando el optifine y tampoco se ve. Alguno sabe como arreglar esto y cual es la causa? Tengo otros mods agregados como el Mo´bends, pero no resulto ser el problema y ya lo quite para probar si era este el problema.

Good afternoon everyone.
My problem with the mod is that O-yoroi's armor, specifically the helmet, doesn't allow me to see my skin. I tried removing the optifine and it doesn't show either. Does anyone know how to fix this and what is the cause? I have other mods added like Mo'bends,
but it did not turn out to be the problem and I already removed it to test if this was the problem.
