I am exposing what I had to do to make the plugin to work in an Android project
to use this plugin in one android project:

• do not add plugin: "java"
• edit the master gradle file with the following additions:

under repositories:

  maven {
            url = uri("https://plugins.gradle.org/m2/")
        }

and under dependencies:

   classpath "com.github.dawnwords:jacoco-badge-gradle-plugin:0.2.0"

• make sure the paths are matching with the module that you want to run the jacoco

jacocoBadgeGenSetting {
    jacocoReportPath  "$buildDir/reports/jacoco/jacocoTestReport/jacocoTestReport.xml"
    readmePath "$projectDir/../README.md"
    // since v0.2.0, percentage limitation (0-100) for different type of coverage
    limit = ['instruction': 0, 'branch': 0, 'line': 0, 'method': 0, 'class': 0]
}

• to test run first ./gradlew jacocoTestReport or ./gradlew module:jacocoTestReport
• then create badge from the previous report like ./gradlew generateJacocoBadge or ./gradlew module:generateJacocoBadge

Hi when i try to run reload all Gradle Projects to get the plugin i have the follow error

"Plugin [id: 'com.github.dawnwords.jacoco.badge'] was not found in any of the following sources:"
