App developed as a collaborative effort for Columbia Coding Bootcamp. In the group project we developed an application where user's can collectively share their music interests by liking, creating, and conversing about playlists that are curated by individual users of the application. Individual portions of the work was completed, and then combined to complete the group effort.

Homepage Genre-Navs/ Popular Playlist display

Description:

-Add nav links for genre's on homepage

  • Use CSS to make nav links sticky to left-side of homepage
  • (Possible) Add section in homepage to display genres' and top playlist by genre
  • Create section to hold and display top playlist by user votes
  • Allow loggedIn users to comment on each popular playlist
  • Auth guard site so non-loggedIn user's will see comments but wont be able to contribute until logging in or signing up
  • Add script for when user clicks popular playlist they are taking to a page for that specific playlist
